The Mill Master
This version of Great Tusk introduces a powerful 'mill' strategy, aiming to win by discarding cards from your opponent's deck rather than by taking prizes. Its 'Land Collapse' attack, when boosted by an Ancient Supporter card, discards four cards from the opponent's deck for just two energy. A few of these attacks can quickly deplete an opponent's resources and push them towards a deck-out loss.
A Niche but Potent Strategy
While mill decks aren't always top-tier, they are a formidable and frustrating archetype to play against. This Great Tusk is the centerpiece of that strategy, offering the most efficient deck destruction available to the Ancient archetype. It's a card for players who enjoy unconventional win conditions.
