Description

The Tera Playground

Area Zero Underdepths is a Stadium designed specifically to empower Tera-based decks. By increasing the maximum bench size to eight for any player with a Tera Pokémon, it allows for incredibly wide and complex board states. This can enable powerful combos, house more support Pokémon, or simply provide more targets for healing and energy acceleration.

A Double-Edged Sword

The effect applies to both players, so you need to be sure that you can take better advantage of the extra space than your opponent. The drawback of discarding Pokémon when the Stadium is removed also adds a layer of risk. It's a high-synergy card that can be the cornerstone of a dedicated Tera strategy.

Rules

Each player who has any Tera Pokémon in play can have up to 8 Pokémon on their Bench. If a player no longer has any Tera Pokémon in play, that player discards Pokémon from their Bench until they have 5. When this card leaves play, both players discard Pokémon from their Bench until they have 5, and the player who played this card discards first.
You may play only 1 Stadium card during your turn. Put it next to the Active Spot, and discard it if another Stadium comes into play. A Stadium with the same name can't be played.
